Three players from Gujarat have found place in the Indian cricket team for the ICC World Twenty20 cricket championship. The players are Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan and Ravindra Jadeja. This is a rare development for the state.
The ICC World Twenty20 cricket championship is starting on June 5 at Lord’s with England against Netherlands.
Indian cricket team for W20:Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Virender Sehwag (vice-captain), Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Praveen Kumar,RP Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Pragyan Ojha and Irfan Pathan.
