VADODARA: Pacer Irfan Pathan's Scorpio car met with an accident on BPC Road on Tuesday evening. Irfan wasn't in the car when the accident occurred. However, his sister Shagufta was travelling in the Scorpio, which was being driven by their driver Ilyas. The accident occurred when Shagufta was on her way to railway station.

According to Ilyas, a motorbike came from wrong side and he steered his car to left to save the biker. The car rammed into the divider and suffered some damages. "I tried to save the biker who was coming from wrong side. No one received injuries," said the driver. Sources said the Pathan family is not planning to file any complaint as the identity of the biker couldn't be ascertained.
