So, the New Year brings some good news for the sporting fiends in the city. Bangalore now has a one-of-its kind Sports Gear destination with SPORTXS inaugurated by Irfan Pathan.

VADODARA: Pacer Irfan Pathan's Scorpio car met with an accident on BPC Road on Tuesday evening. Irfan wasn't in the car when the accident occurred. However, his sister Shagufta was travelling in the Scorpio, which was being driven by their driver Ilyas. The accident occurred when Shagufta was on her way to railway station.

Despite tight security and thronging crowd wherever the Indian team went, five cricketersYuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja and Suresh Rainahad a welcome break at Irfan Pathan's bunglow at Tandalja here(Vadodhara).

Playing the perfect host, the younger Pathan invited the Indian team, including Sachin Tendulkar for dinner at his residence. Though Tendulkar couldn't make it, the rest had a gala time sitting in the hall and talking about their good and bad times together.
